FORNEY, Texas - A 17-year-old was arrested after a clerk was pushed and threatened during a robbery at a gas station in Kaufman County, according to the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded at approximately 8:16 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, to a reported robbery at the Forney Quick Mart Chevron in the 16300 block of FM 548.
Investigators said the suspect pushed the store clerk and threatened to kill him before leaving the gas station. No injuries were reported in the information released.
After interviewing the clerk and reviewing surveillance video from the store, investigators identified the suspect as 17-year-old Tamarvion Emeory, also known as "Tank."
The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office obtained a robbery warrant for Emeory after it was approved by a municipal judge.
On Friday, Sept. 18, Investigator Justin Guy with the sheriff's office Criminal Investigation Division issued a be-on-the-lookout alert, or BOLO, that included a surveillance image of Emeory taken at the store.
Authorities located and arrested Emeory hours after the alert was issued.
He was booked into the Kaufman County Jail at 6:17 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, on the robbery charge. His bond was set at $75,000.
