Grayson County Sheriff's Deputy Arrested on Family Violence Charge

DENISON, Texas — A Grayson County Sheriff's deputy has been arrested on a family violence charge following an investigation into a reported domestic disturbance.

According to the Grayson County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded Saturday, June 27, 2026, to the 600 block of Old Airport Road in Denison regarding a reported family violence incident.

After conducting an on-scene investigation, Deputy Jacob Deen was arrested and charged with Family Violence.

Authorities said Deen was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Fannin County Jail.

The sheriff's office emphasized that the charge is an allegation and that Deen is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.

In addition to the criminal investigation, the Grayson County Sheriff's Office Office of Professional Standards has launched a separate internal affairs investigation in accordance with agency policy.

Chief Deputy Brad Oliver said the sheriff's office holds all employees to the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

The sheriff's office stated that allegations involving agency personnel are taken seriously and are thoroughly investigated to maintain public trust.

The criminal investigation remains active, and no additional information has been released.
