NAPLES, TX – What started as a narcotics investigation ended with pounds of illegal drugs taken off the streets and multiple agencies working side by side to make arrests.
During the course of the investigation, the Naples Police Department intercepted approximately three pounds of illegal drugs that had been shipped to Naples via FedEx. Investigators determined the package originated in Oregon and was destined for a residence on Cornett Road.
On Friday, February 13, 2026, after gathering sufficient evidence, Naples Police obtained a search warrant for the Cornett Road residence. The warrant was signed by a District Judge.
The operation was carried out in partnership with the Cass County Fugitive Task Force, a joint effort designed to target guns, drugs, violent crimes, and outstanding fugitives in Naples and throughout Cass County. The task force brings additional manpower and investigative resources to local operations.

During the execution of the search warrant, officers located and arrested two suspects at the residence. Various types of illegal drugs were seized, and both individuals were charged with multiple felony drug offenses.
Authorities say additional charges and arrests involving other suspects are expected in the coming days.
