Deputies arrived to find a trailer home fully engulfed in flames, with reports that two people were still inside.

Officials said one occupant was able to escape the burning home, but another person was trapped and died in the fire. The residence was declared a total loss.

Based on the preliminary investigation, four adults were inside the home at the time of the fire. The deceased victim was identified only as an 84-year-old woman. Three other adults were transported to a local hospital by Allegiance EMS. A 60-year-old woman was treated for minor injuries and released. A 32-year-old man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transferred to an Austin-area medical center. A 66-year-old man sustained critical, life-threatening injuries and was also transported to an Austin medical center.
