TITUS COUNTY, Texas - Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a fugitive wanted in connection with a recent residential burglary investigation.
The Titus County Sheriff’s Office said Gary Wayne Hendricks, 32, is wanted on a second-degree felony warrant for burglary of a habitation stemming from a case investigated by deputies over the weekend. Hendricks is described as a white male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds.
Investigators said Hendricks has recently been staying at multiple residences in the Talco area. Deputies spotted him in Talco on Wednesday, January 14, but he managed to evade capture when officers attempted to take him into custody. Authorities said that incident is expected to result in additional charges.
The sheriff’s office warned that anyone who knowingly provides shelter, aid, or concealment to Hendricks, whether on their property, in a residence, or in a vehicle, could face felony charges.
