Illegal Gambling Machines Seized in Raid on Mount Pleasant Game Room

MOUNT PLEASANT, TX - Authorities seized 18 illegal gaming machines and made one arrest Wednesday after executing a search warrant at a Mount Pleasant game room following an undercover investigation, the Titus County Sheriff’s Office said.

On January 14, 2026, deputies with the Titus County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at the Skillzone Game Room, located at 1501 S. Jefferson Avenue. The warrant stemmed from information received by investigators indicating illegal activity was taking place at the business.

According to the sheriff’s office, undercover deputies confirmed that illegal gambling operations were being conducted inside the game room prior to the warrant being issued. During the search, deputies seized 18 illegal gaming machines and took one individual into custody. Details about the arrest and potential additional charges were not immediately released.

Officials said the investigation remains ongoing and that further enforcement action is possible as detectives continue to review evidence collected during the operation.

The Titus County Sheriff’s Office thanked the Mount Pleasant Police Department for assisting during the execution of the search warrant.
