On December 11, 2025, a joint investigation between the Caddo Mills Police Department and the Caddo Mills ISD Police Department led to the execution of a search warrant in the 100 block of Longhorn Pass. The case began when school district police developed information about a subject suspected of selling THC vapes in the community.
Caddo Mills Police Detective M. Robles opened an investigation right away, which ultimately resulted in Thursday’s search warrant. During the search, officers found THC vape products and psilocybin mushrooms. The suspect, identified as Nolan Brian Thrasher-Heard, was taken into custody at the scene.
Thrasher-Heard is charged with Manufacture/Delivery of THC Vapes, a first-degree felony, and Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms, also a first-degree felony.
Chief K. Collier praised the coordinated effort between the two agencies, noting that the partnership played a key role in stopping the distribution of narcotics in the area. “I am very happy and proud that the two departments are able to work together to protect the community. All of the officers, Caddo Mills ISD PD and Caddo Mills PD, really did a great job in this joint investigation,” Collier said.
Officials emphasized that residents can be confident their local law enforcement agencies will continue working together to safeguard the Caddo Mills community.
