SHERMAN, Texas - A Quinlan woman has been sentenced to federal prison for her role in a methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy in the Eastern District of Texas, U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs announced.
Rosalind Horton, 34, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine. On December 1, 2025, U.S. District Judge Amos L. Mazzant sentenced her to 24 months in federal prison.
According to court records, Horton joined others in a conspiracy beginning in 2020 to distribute and possess 500 grams or more of methamphetamine within the Eastern District of Texas.
The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Heather Rattan.
