On Thursday, November 6, 2025, Officer Kenan Robert Laza, a member of the Gladewater Police Department, was arrested at his residence in Longview, Gregg County, Texas, for Indecency with a Child, a third-degree felony. The arrest was conducted in coordination with the Dallas Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Division and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Immediately following the arrest, Officer Laza’s employment with the Gladewater Police Department was terminated on-site, effective immediately.
