GREENVILLE, TX - Greenville Independent School District Superintendent Dr. Joe Lopez announced that Proposition A on the November ballot passed with 60.01% of voters in favor, marking a historic milestone for the district.
With the approval of Proposition A, Greenville ISD will move forward with key improvements, including:

Construction of a brand-new high school

Development of a new early childhood center

Updates to existing classrooms

Creation of modern learning spaces designed to support student growth
“Thank you to every voter who participated during Early Voting and on Election Day,” said Dr. Lopez. “This incredible milestone is a testament to our community’s commitment to education.”
Dr. Lopez also acknowledged the support of families, staff, the Board of Trustees, and the PAC, noting that the collective effort helped bring this proposition to life. He emphasized that the approval represents a shared belief in the power of education and a dedication to Greenville ISD’s vision, Pursuing the PAWsible, for every student.
