Lamar County Authorities Recover Stolen Vehicles and Firearms, Arrest Three Suspects

In the early morning hours of September 30, 2025, Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies, alongside officers from the Reno Police Department, Northeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force, Lamar County Drone Team, and the Paris Police Department, responded to reports of multiple vehicle burglaries in Reno, Texas, and a suspicious white Ford pickup.

Deputies located the pickup, and three individuals fled on foot. Paris Police detained one suspect, Davion Hill, who was later arrested by the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office for evading detention.

During the investigation, deputies recovered three firearms, two of which were reported stolen, and confirmed the pickup itself had been stolen from Lamar County. A search warrant at a Paris residence led to the recovery of two additional stolen firearms.

The investigation, conducted collaboratively with the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office, Northeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force, Reno Police Department, Lamar County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Paris Police Department, resulted in the arrests of three suspects—Tyrone Reed, Isiah Black, and Davion Hill—for two counts of engaging in organized criminal activity. Reed and Black remain in the Lamar County Jail with $20,000 bonds each, while Hill has posted bond.

Within a week of the initial incident, all five reported stolen vehicles in Paris and Lamar County were recovered, along with five firearms, four of which were stolen.
