LONGVIEW, Texas—A multi-unit sting operation by the Longview Police Department has led to the arrest of eleven men on charges of solicitation of prostitution.
On September 18, the County Organized Drug Enforcement (CODE) Unit, Special Investigations and Apprehension Unit (SIA), Police Area Representatives (PAR), and patrol officers conducted the sting in the 1500 block of East Marshall Avenue.
Female officers posed as undercover prostitutes. Eleven men approached the officers and agreed to exchange money for sexual acts. All were arrested and booked into the Gregg County Jail on charges of Solicitation of Prostitution, a state jail felony.

Each one was being held on a $7,500 bond. The Longview Police Department stated that it remains committed to addressing illegal prostitution activity and its impact on the community.
