WILLS POINT, TX – The Wills Point Police Department has arrested Eli Joshua Steele in connection with an extensive and ongoing investigation into the possession, production, and promotion of child exploitation materials. The arrest took place on Friday, July 18, 2025.
Steele was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held on multiple felony charges, including:

Six (6) counts of Sexual Performance by a Child – Produce/Direct/Promote

Nine (9) counts of Possession with Intent to Promote Child Pornography
The case has been referred to the Van Zandt County District Attorney for formal charging and prosecution. His bond has been set at $600,000.
The Wills Point Police Department emphasized its commitment to protecting children through aggressive investigation and prosecution of individuals involved in child exploitation.
