The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Division, with assistance from the La Marque Police Department and the City of Fate Police Department, successfully apprehended Joshua Pritchett, identified as a former La Marque City Manager and a known fugitive, on Friday, July 19, 2025.
The operation, which targeted Pritchett who was reportedly hiding in the Royse City/Fate City area of Rockwall County, culminated at approximately 2:50 PM. Warrant investigators conducted a felony stop at the intersection of FM 1138 and State Highway 66.
As a result of the coordinated efforts between the agencies, Joshua Pritchett was taken into custody without incident. The Galveston County Fugitive Apprehension Division extended its appreciation for the support provided by the City of Fate Police Department in this operation.
