On June 23, 2025, at approximately 4:43 p.m., deputies with the Newton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported disturbance in the 7500 block of FM 2626.
Upon arrival, deputies conducted a preliminary investigation which revealed that Trinity Kennebrew had allegedly attempted to stab her mother with a knife during the altercation. Kennebrew was taken into custody at the scene.
She was transported to the Newton County Jail and formally charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The case remains under investigation by the Newton County Sheriff’s Office.
