Three Found Dead in Nacogdoches Home; Possible Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

The Nacogdoches Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, along with fire department personnel, is investigating the deaths of three adults discovered in a home on the 4300 block of Mystic Lane.

Officers initially responded to the residence to conduct a welfare check. Upon arrival, first responders found the three adults deceased inside the home. No signs of foul play were apparent at the scene.

Carbon monoxide poisoning is currently being considered as a possible cause of death. The Nacogdoches Fire Department and CenterPoint Energy are assisting in the investigation to determine the source.

The three deceased have been identified as 52-year-old Amy Manning Kirk (homeowner), 22-year-old William Manning Kirk and 17-year-old John Standley Kirk.
