In the early hours of June 11, 2025, at approximately 12:45 a.m., the Longview Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 101 Harlem Avenue.
Upon arrival, crews found the residence fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters initiated an interior attack and conducted a primary search and rescue, confirming the home was vacant at the time of the fire. The blaze caused an estimated $68,000 in damage to the structure.
During roof operations, one firefighter sustained an injury but was treated and released shortly after.
The Longview Fire Department responded with three fire engines, two ladder trucks, one ambulance, and four support vehicles, totaling 21 personnel. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
