Authorities have arrested 18-year-old Peterios Davidson in connection with a shooting that occurred on Friday, April 25, 2025, near East 32nd and Laurel Street, according to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department (TAPD).
Davidson has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Battery in the First Degree.
Officers responded to the shooting shortly after it was reported and found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. Police say the suspect fled the area on a bicycle before officers arrived.
TAPD's Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate the case and collect evidence. Authorities are asking anyone with information or video footage from the area between 12:20 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. to contact Sergeant Freeman at 903-798-3154.
All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
