On January 23, 2025, at approximately 5:45 PM, a traffic stop on Clear Creek Road in Mabank, Texas, led to the arrest of Natasha Ann Longbine after deputies discovered narcotics and methamphetamine concealed in her vehicle.
K-9 Deputy Edwin Rodriguez, along with Narcotic Investigators Jonathan Barrios and Jonathan Daille, initiated the stop on a black Dodge Ram pickup driven by Longbine. During the investigation, Deputy Rodriguez and K-9 Valco conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle, which resulted in a positive alert for narcotics.
Further inspection revealed Longbine was hiding Hydrocodone on her person, and deputies found suspected marijuana inside the vehicle. As the search continued, investigators noticed Longbine reaching into the wheel wells of the patrol vehicle. A small black zipper bag containing a significant amount of suspected methamphetamine, along with baggies commonly used for packaging drugs, was recovered.
Longbine was arrested and transported to the Henderson County Detention Center, where she was booked for several charges, including manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of marijuana, and tampering with physical evidence. She is currently awaiting arraignment.
