On January 14, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Sergeant Patrick Johnson and Deputy Chaney Johnson of the Henderson County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop in the 424 block of West Main Street in Gun Barrel City for a license plate violation.
The driver, identified as 66-year-old Gary Martin Roundtree of Gun Barrel City, was found to be in possession of a crystal-like substance weighing approximately 7.5 grams, believed to be methamphetamine.
Roundtree was arrested and transported to the Henderson County Jail, where he was charged with manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance PG 1/1-B between 4 and 200 grams. His bond was set at $50,000.
