The Gilmer Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in two counts of criminal mischief that occurred early Christmas morning.
On December 25, 2024, between 3 and 4 a.m., the suspect reportedly broke the doors of Whataburger, located at 892 US Highway 271 North, and the drive-thru window of Jack in the Box, located at 516 M. Wood Street, both in Gilmer.
Authorities have asked anyone with information about the suspect to contact the Gilmer Police Department at 903-843-5545 and reference case #24-0658.
