On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Paris Police Officers responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of SW 7th. Upon arrival, a family member reported that 29-year-old Jaymie Leigh Ann Seat had struck him in the head and hand with a glass lamp globe. The assault caused cuts to the victim’s face and hand. The victim provided a video recording of the incident as evidence.
Seat was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Her bond was set at $5,000. Seat has a violent past, having been arrested previously on assault charges.
