On Wednesday night, November 27, 2024, Harrison County deputies were dispatched to Big Lake Road in Karnack, Texas, following a report of a domestic altercation.
According to the complainant, he and his wife, 44-year-old Desiree Ann Swanson of Houston, were involved in a dispute that escalated when Swanson tackled him to the ground and slapped him multiple times. After separating briefly, Swanson allegedly retrieved a firearm and ordered him to leave the residence.
When deputies arrived, the parties were already separated. After reviewing recordings of the incident, Swanson was arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct and Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.
Swanson’s bond was set at $6,000.
