Takeyia Lashay Bridges, 31, of Greenville, was taken into custody on Friday, November 22, following the execution of a warrant by Hunt County deputies at the 1700 block of Oneal Street.
The warrant, issued by the 354th District Court in Hunt County, stems from a charge of Evading Arrest Detention with a Vehicle dating back to September 2, 2021. Bridges had accepted a guilty plea deal on May 6, 2022, resulting in a 10-year probation sentence and an obligation to complete 120 hours of community service.
Bridges has a history of driving-related offenses, including convictions for driving without a license that led to a six-month jail sentence. Following her recent arrest, Bridges has been denied bond and remains in custody as legal proceedings continue.
