On May 24, 2024, at 10:45 AM, a stolen vehicle investigation led to a police pursuit that concluded near Collins Road in Forney.
The Forney Police Department initiated the pursuit after receiving an alert about a stolen vehicle via the Flock System. Officers followed the vehicle through the Travis Ranch area. During the chase, one suspect exited the vehicle and was quickly apprehended. The suspect vehicle continued onto westbound US Highway 80.
A felony stop was conducted near Collins Road, resulting in the detention of three additional subjects. All suspects are now in custody.
