Dallas Fire and Rescue has joined Forney Police and Emergency services in the ongoing search for Waid Robison, assisting with underwater operations.
Robison has been missing since Sunday morning when he was involved in a car crash in Forney. After the accident, Robison fled the scene.
The search has now transitioned from rescue to recovery mode, with efforts primarily concentrated on the retrieval of Waid.
While the community's eagerness to help is appreciated, volunteers are asked to refrain from participating in search efforts at this time to ensure the safety and effectiveness of professional teams involved.
UPDATE: After an exhaustive effort by the Dallas Fire Department Water Rescue Team, Robison was not found. Forney Police Detectives continue to follow leads in this case which is still classified as a “missing person.” Forney PD says that they have concluded search, rescue, and recovery efforts.
