Hunt County Sheriff's Office arrested a suspect following an investigation into sexual abuse allegations on February 28, 2024.
Deputies successfully apprehended the suspect, identified as 53-year-old Cimplico Rubio Marquez of Commerce, Texas, on Wednesday at the 1400 block of Park Street in Commerce.
Marquez faces charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child, Sexual Contact. His bond has been set at $1,000,000.
Due to the nature of the charges, no details are available about the victim(s).
