Hunt County Sheriff Deputies apprehended a man on September 21, 2023, around 11:45 pm following a pursuit that initiated on W. Main St. in Wolfe City. The chase came to an end on FM816 when the suspect wrecked out.
Authorities reported that during the pursuit, the suspect collided with a pedestrian on S. San Antonio St. in Wolfe City. The current condition of the pedestrian remains undisclosed.
Jordan Wayne Holman, a resident of Wolfe City, was taken into custody and booked into the Hunt County Jail. He faces charges of aggravated assault on a date/family/house with a weapon and evading arrest with a vehicle. Holman's bond has been set at a total of $115,000.
