A family disturbance unfolded in Paris on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the arrest of Kelsey Edward Vaughn. The incident occurred at 4:48 PM in the 500 block of SE 15th.
According to the victim at the scene, Vaughn allegedly assaulted her during the altercation. The victim reported that Vaughn took her phone and refused to return it. Additionally, she claimed that he pushed her to the ground, grabbed her by the throat, and choked her, dragging her along the floor.
Visible evidence of the assault was apparent on the victim. As a result, Kelsey Edward Vaughn was arrested on the scene and is now facing charges of Assault on a Family Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation, a felony offense.
