A hit-and-run incident was reported on Friday night at 10:01 pm in the 3000 block of NE Loop 286, resulting in the arrest of Saul Rojas. The incident saw Rojas fleeing the scene of the accident, but he was pursued by an off-duty police officer. He was eventually apprehended by the Paris Junior College Police in the 2400 block of Jefferson Rd. Rojas was arrested for leaving the scene of the accident, and it was discovered that he did not possess a valid driver's license.
