On Saturday, October 7th, 2023, at approximately 5:19 PM, a hit and run accident shocked residents near the intersection of Ridge Road and SH 205 in Rockwall. The suspect, later identified as Ayden Cole Holland of McKinney, fled the scene in his vehicle.
The suspect drove his vehicle to the vicinity of South Lakeshore Drive and Lakehill Drive in Rockwall, where he abandoned the car and attempted to escape on foot.
Rockwall Police Officers initiated a search of the area, leading to the quick location and subsequent arrest of Holland without any further incident.
Ayden Cole Holland was taken into custody and has been charged with evading arrest detention and accident involving damage to a vehicle exceeding $200.
