A routine traffic monitoring operation took a startling turn on Friday night when a Paris officer spotted a speeding white vehicle on Stillhouse Road. At 8:31 pm, the officer noticed the car, driven by 18-year-old Adam Paul Landers, exit Lewis Lane at a high speed. During the pursuit, the officer observed a dark-colored object being thrown from the vehicle's passenger side window and landing in the grass just before the traffic stop at the intersection of Stillhouse Road and NE Loop 286.

Upon inspection, law enforcement identified the discarded object as a small blue bag containing marijuana, THC Wax, and several drug paraphernalia items. Landers was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.

Landers now faces serious charges, including Possession of a Controlled Substance, classified as a Third-Degree Felony, and Tampering with Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair, also categorized as a Third-Degree Felony.
