In the early hours of Friday morning, Paris Police officers responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of NE 34. At 1:48 AM, a concerned caller reported a vehicle had driven into their yard, prompting them to hold the driver, identified as Leif Ericson Lindblom, at gunpoint.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered Lindblom standing in the bed of his running pickup, which was parked in the complainant's yard. After conducting field sobriety tests, it was determined that Lindblom was under the influence of alcohol. Consequently, he was arrested on the charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
