Four Individuals Arrested in Sulphur Springs Drug-Related Warrant Operation

On the evening of September 14, 2023, at approximately 6:30 PM, officers from the Sulphur Springs Police Department swiftly responded to an incident at a residence situated in the 900 block of Forrest Lane, which is in close proximity to Sulphur Springs Elementary School. Their response was prompted by the need to execute a felony warrant.

During the execution of the warrant, law enforcement officials uncovered various items related to drug activities. These included drug paraphernalia, small baggies containing traces of methamphetamine, and marijuana.

As a result of the operation, four individuals were taken into custody. They are identified as follows:

  1. Kortney Flanigan, a resident of Sulphur Springs, facing charges related to a Hopkins County Warrant:

    • Charge: Violation of Probation - Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 (less than 1 gram).
    • Bond: Denied.
  2. Stefan Morrow, hailing from Sulphur Springs, Texas, and facing charges tied to a Gregg County Warrant:

    • Charge: Violation of Probation - Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 (between 1 gram and 4 grams).
    • Bond: Denied.
  3. Rashaun Porter, a resident of Sulphur Springs:

    • Charge: Possession of Marijuana (less than 20 ounces) - a misdemeanor.
    • Bond information: Not available at this time.
  4. Gabriel Blakely, also from Sulphur Springs, Texas:

    • Charge: Possession of Marijuana (less than 20 ounces) - a misdemeanor.
    • Bond information: Not available at this time.

The four individuals were taken into custody and are currently facing these charges.
