TEXARKANA, Texas - A 15-year-old juvenile has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a Texarkana convenience store last week, according to the Texarkana Texas Police Department.
The robbery occurred just before midnight Thursday, July 30th, at a convenience store in the 200 block of West 38th Street.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the store dressed entirely in black and wearing a black mask. Police said the suspect pointed a handgun at the store clerk, demanded money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Patrol officers responded quickly and searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect that night.
Detectives continued investigating the case, identifying the juvenile as the alleged robber. The suspect was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated robbery.
Because the suspect is a juvenile, authorities have not released the individual's identity.
The investigation remains ongoing.
