According to the Marshall Police Department, Davion McDale Brown was taken into custody with assistance from the Longview Police Department and several other law enforcement agencies.

The shooting occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. Saturday after Marshall police received a 911 call reporting gunfire at the Whataburger. Officers responded and found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

Two victims, identified as 20-year-old James Morrow and 18-year-old Jassiah Hill, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two additional victims were transported by Marshall Fire Department paramedics to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
