KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — Authorities are continuing to search for a missing man who suffers from dementia and may be disoriented.
According to the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office, Alfredo Chavez remains missing after an extensive search.
Chavez is described as a Hispanic male who speaks only Spanish, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds.
He was last seen near 14307 Clark Lane in the Hiram Community of Wills Point, Texas. He was wearing green sweatpants, a black sweater and black slide sandals.
Officials said Chavez may be accompanied by a small Chihuahua and could approach homes in the area seeking help.
Authorities are urging residents to be alert and to contact law enforcement immediately if they see him.
