LONGVIEW, Texas — A man was injured in a shooting early Friday morning following a fight in Longview, according to police.
Officers responded around 12:01 a.m. on March 27, 2026, to the 900 block of South High Street after reports of a fight that escalated into gunfire.
When officers arrived, they observed multiple individuals fleeing the scene. Police also stopped a vehicle leaving the area and discovered an adult male inside who had been shot.
The victim was transported by the Longview Fire Department to a local hospital. Authorities said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The investigation remains ongoing.
