Officers responded around 8:02 p.m. to a report of a shooting near the intersection of Garner Road and Randi Road. Upon arrival, officers located evidence consistent with gunfire and conducted a search of the area. Authorities said no victims or property damage were found.
During the investigation, officers identified a suspect and attempted to make contact. The individual fled on foot, prompting officers to establish a perimeter and request additional resources.

The suspect has been charged with evading arrest. Additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
The case has been assigned to the department’s Criminal Investigations Division and remains active.
