PARIS, Texas — A Paris man was arrested Thursday afternoon after officers found him nude in the middle of a roadway, according to the Paris Police Department.
On March 12, 2026, officers responded to the 1000 block of Fitzhugh Street after receiving reports of a man undressing in the street.
When officers arrived, they made contact with 39-year-old Brandon Omar Grant who was reportedly nude in the roadway. Police said Grant initially responded to officers’ commands and was taken into custody before being placed in a patrol vehicle.
Officers believed Grant appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance during the encounter.
Witnesses at the scene told officers that children were outside and observed the incident, according to police.
While officers attempted to gather additional information from Grant, he allegedly attempted to forcibly exit the patrol vehicle. Officers had to restrain him and physically place him back into the vehicle.

He was taken to the police department and later transported to the county jail.
