Task Force Executes Harrison County Drug Raid, Seizes Meth and Marijuana

On January 9, 2026, the Joint Harrison County Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force, working alongside the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team and the Marshall Police Department Special Response Team, executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence located at 906 Ida Street.

During the search, law enforcement recovered approximately 32 grams of methamphetamine, along with THC and marijuana.

As a result of the investigation, three individuals—Kenneth Tyson, Clinton Gilmore, and David Kelly—were arrested on view. They face charges including Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B (4–200 grams), Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 (1–4 grams), and Possession of Marijuana (less than 2 ounces).

Harrison County Sheriff Fletcher commended the professionalism, teamwork, and dedication demonstrated by all agencies involved. He emphasized that operations like this reflect a continued commitment to removing illegal drugs from the community and keeping Harrison County residents safe.
