PARIS, Texas - Two men were injured in a shooting outside a downtown barber shop Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The Paris Police Department responded at 10:48 a.m. on December 31st to a report of gunfire in the parking lot of 100 3rd Street NW. Officers determined that a fight had broken out inside Logan’s Barber Shop between two Black male suspects. Both men then exited the shop and exchanged gunfire in the parking lot.
Both suspects sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to their lower extremities and arrived at Paris Regional Health shortly after the incident. Police said there is no evidence that anyone else was involved and no immediate threat to the public.
