MARSHALL, TX - A Marshall man has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon following an incident reported Monday night.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on December 22, 2025, officers with the Marshall Police Department were dispatched to the 700 block of North Loop 390 Highway after receiving reports of gunshots in the area. When officers arrived, they made contact with individuals who stated they had been shot at. No injuries were reported.
Marshall police worked through the overnight hours alongside the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and the Joint Harrison County Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force to locate the suspect.
Tyterrius Qwantrell Lafayette, 28, was located and taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Harrison County Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
