The Lone Star Police Department assisted Wisconsin authorities in locating a teenage victim connected to an online child exploitation investigation.
On November 7, 2025, Lone Star police received a request for assistance from the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office in Wisconsin to help locate a 15-year-old victim who lives in Morris County. Officers located the teen and learned that the suspect, identified as Marcus J. Polster of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, had allegedly sent inappropriate photographs and text messages to the victim through an Xbox gaming system.
During the investigation, the victim reported that Polster may have contacted additional potential victims through Xbox online gaming services.
Lone Star police obtained arrest warrants for Polster on charges of child grooming and online solicitation of a minor. Authorities said Polster has also been charged in Sheboygan County with five felony offenses, including three counts of exposing genitals.
Law enforcement is urging parents and guardians to monitor their children’s online activity, including gaming systems and social media platforms, and to report any suspected inappropriate contact to local law enforcement.
