Grayson County, Texas - On November 18, 2025, at about 7:49 a.m., Chief Laughlin and Lt. Aguirre responded to a reported domestic disturbance near the intersection of State Highway 289 and FM 902 in Dorchester.
Before officers arrived, Grayson County Dispatch had been alerted by a male caller who said his girlfriend struck him in the face multiple times while he was driving. He told dispatchers he was then pushed out of the moving vehicle. When officers reached the scene, they found the victim with visible injuries and active bleeding. EMS evaluated him, but he declined transport to the hospital.
The suspect fled before officers arrived. Chief Laughlin and Lt. Aguirre later located her at a residence near Denison. She admitted to being involved in the physical altercation and acknowledged leaving the scene without reporting the incident.
Based on the victim’s account, the suspect’s statements, and the injuries observed, officers arrested her for Assault Causing Bodily Injury – Family Member. She was taken into custody and booked into the Grayson County Jail without incident.
The case remains under review.
