Greenville City Council Seeks Applicants for Board of Development

GREENVILLE, TX – The Greenville City Council is accepting applications through Friday, October 31, 2025, from residents interested in serving on the Greenville Board of Development. Established in 1941, the Board promotes industrial and business growth throughout the city.

Board members, appointed by City Council as terms expire or vacancies occur, help support company relocations, expansion projects, and broader economic development initiatives. Meetings are held monthly at 3:00 PM.

Applicants generally must be city residents, registered voters, in good standing on taxes and utility bills, and not involved in litigation against the city, unless the Council waives these requirements.

An Orientation Information Meeting for new members is scheduled for Monday, November 3, 2025, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at the Greenville Municipal Building, City Manager’s Conference Room, 2821 Washington Street.

Applications are available online or at the City Secretary’s Office. For more information, contact Carla Oldacre at 903-457-3121 or coldacre@ci.greenville.tx.us.
