Brenham Police Seize Drugs, Firearm in Major Narcotics Raid

BRENHAM, Texas – A Brenham man is facing multiple felony charges after investigators recovered drugs and a firearm during a search tied to an ongoing narcotics investigation, police said.

On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the Brenham Police Department’s Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) executed a search warrant at a residence in Brenham. Inside, investigators seized controlled substances in pill form along with a firearm.

The suspect, 18-year-old Sean Damien Padilla, had already been taken into custody earlier that day on two active narcotics-related warrants. Following the search, Padilla now faces additional charges, including:

  • Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, PG 1 (Cocaine), ≥4 grams <200 grams – First Degree Felony

  • Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, PG 3 (Alprazolam), <28 grams – State Jail Felony

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance, PG 2 (THC), ≥1 gram <4 grams – Third Degree Felony

“The Brenham Police Department remains committed to improving public safety through reducing illegal narcotics activity in our community,” officials said in a release.

The investigation remains ongoing, and police encourage anyone with information about illegal drug activity to contact the department.
