TITUS COUNTY, TX — The Titus County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for 43-year-old David Roy “Buck” Taylor and 34-year-old Charles Anthony Watkins, both wanted on felony arrest warrants for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
The investigation began when a property owner in Talco reported a Ford pickup stolen from their property without consent. The vehicle was later recovered, and authorities issued warrants for Taylor and Watkins in connection to the theft.
Officials remind the public that vehicle transactions in Texas must include an original title, or in limited cases, a bill of sale signed by the legitimate owner. The use of forged documents in such transactions may result in additional criminal charges.
Charles Watkins was last seen driving an older model white Jeep Cherokee with Texas license plate PSG6681 and towing a trailer equipped with a winch and built-on ramps. He has known ties to Bogata and Talco. Taylor is a resident of Talco.
Anyone who spots Watkins or Taylor is urged to call the Titus County Sheriff’s Office at (903) 572-6641 with real-time information.
