Sherman Man Arrested for Tampering in Child Exploitation Investigation

SHERMAN, TX – The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Zachary Allen Keaton, 32, of Sherman, for tampering with physical evidence in an ongoing child exploitation investigation. The arrest follows an extensive probe initiated by multiple CyberTip reports.

The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office received several CyberTip reports from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), indicating that child pornography was being uploaded to the internet from a residence in the 5000 block of OB Groner Road in Sherman.

After a thorough investigation by the Grayson County Criminal Investigations Division, a search warrant for the residence was obtained. In the early morning hours of Thursday, July 24, 2025, the warrant was served by members of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, Patrol Division, and SRT, with assistance from the Sherman Police Department SRT Team, Texas Rangers, and Allen Police Department.

During the execution of the warrant, evidence was collected, and Keaton was taken into custody. He has been charged with the felony offense of Tampering with Physical Evidence.

This investigation remains active, and authorities stated that additional charges may be forthcoming.

The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office reiterated its commitment to protecting vulnerable community members and continuing to work closely with local, state, and federal partners to pursue those involved in the exploitation of children.
