Three Arrested in Mabank Drug Busts

MABANK, TX – Three individuals were arrested on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, after Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators executed two search warrants in Mabank, leading to the seizure of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The warrants were authorized by 392nd Judicial District Judge Scott McKee.

At approximately 6:40 p.m., a search warrant was served in the 100 block of Fairhill Lane. Investigators Jonathan Barrios and Jude Bonner, supported by K-9 units, located suspected methamphetamine, along with baggies and scales commonly used for drug distribution. 56-year-old Lynda Gayl Vanwinkle was arrested and charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

Later that evening, around 10:00 p.m., a second warrant was executed in the 100 block of Owens Circle. Authorities again found suspected methamphetamine and similar packaging materials. Two individuals were arrested at this location:

  • 34-year-old Katja Polster Duke was charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

  • 42-year-old Shawn Michael Gautney was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

All three individuals were transported to the Henderson County Jail. Their bond was set at $100,000. The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office stated its continued commitment to protecting the community and pursuing those involved in illegal substance trafficking.
